Student wellbeing is a cornerstone of Girton’s education offering. Happy, engaged students are best placed for optimum learning and we offer a range of services to support and enhance student wellbeing.
For the most part, student wellbeing is overseen by our House Tutors, but Girton students can also access “65 Wattle,” our dedicated wellbeing centre. Our School Nurse, Mrs Alli Williams, manages 65 Wattle, who students can see privately regarding health and wellbeing issues. Students can also receive counselling from our School Psychologists, Ms Brydie Huggins and Mr Richie Clark. Students can self-refer to access these services and Parents are also able to refer their children to the team at 65 Wattle should the need arise.
